Winter

Ouch!! On leaving the small animal auction last Saturday both feet went out from under me and I landed on my head and tail at the same time. Everything went black with red sparkles. The head got better fast but the other spot is taking much longer. Was in bed several days. Sigh. Now I can sit for a little while but have to get up to walk. Thank goodness for Dan. He took over feeding the critters, dishwashing and cooking. I'm up to the dishes and cooking now but Dan's still carrying the water buckets for the animals.

My sister who lives in a nice warmer state asked what the farm looks like right now so here are some photos.

Boy, oh boy, it's cold. Lots of snow piled all over the place from plowing the driveway so many times. I just mainly stay inside and knit, except for feeding the critters. Brrrrrrr!!! I'll try to get some photos and maybe post them tomorrow so my sisters in TN and China can see what we're going through.
